Second Opinion is an educational site that shows the math behind forecasts and offers a second opinion. It is not a betting or gambling site, and nothing here is financial or betting advice.
Educational estimates, not advice
Second Opinion is an educational site. We show the math behind forecasts for elections, sports and world events, and offer an independent second opinion next to the numbers you see elsewhere. Second Opinion is not a sportsbook, casino, betting or gambling site: we do not take wagers, hold funds, set odds for betting, or link you to place bets. Our estimates are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax, or betting advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any position on any venue. Prediction markets are speculative and you can lose money. Our estimates may be wrong, and past calibration does not guarantee future accuracy. Always do your own research and consider consulting a licensed professional before making any financial decision. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
Built to explain the math
Every forecast on Second Opinion comes with the method behind it: the inputs, how they are weighted, and how often our past forecasts came true. The point is to help you understand where a probability comes from and to give you an independent second opinion, not to tell you what to bet on.
Not a gambling site
We do not take bets, offer odds to wager on, pay out winnings, or refer you to sportsbooks or betting apps. We show prediction-market prices only as a reference point to compare our own estimates against.
If gambling is a problem
If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is free and confidential. In the U.S., call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, or visit ncpgambling.org. Outside the U.S., contact your local problem gambling helpline.
Geographic & regulatory · Read-only analysis, no trading
Second Opinion is an analytics product. We do not place trades, hold funds, or facilitate order placement on any venue. We publish independent estimates built on public data.
Geographic & regulatory · Polymarket
Polymarket is an on-chain prediction market. On-chain trading on Polymarket is blocked for U.S. persons. Second Opinion uses Polymarket's public data for READ-ONLY analysis only — we do not enable, route, or facilitate any Polymarket trading. Displaying Polymarket data is not an invitation to trade there.
Geographic & regulatory · Kalshi
Kalshi is a prediction-market exchange regulated in the United States by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Trading on Kalshi is subject to Kalshi's own eligibility rules, terms, and jurisdiction restrictions. Any trading you do occurs directly with Kalshi, not through Second Opinion.
Geographic & regulatory · Your responsibility
You are responsible for determining whether using prediction markets is legal in your jurisdiction and for complying with the rules of any venue you choose to use.

Data retention · Technical logs
Security and diagnostic logs are retained for up to 90 days, then rotated out.
Data retention · Aggregated / anonymized data
